Centre for the Comparative Study of the Americas (CECSAM), Swansea University

Swansea University's Centre for the Comparative Study of the Americas (CECSAM) is the product of a convergence of research and teaching interests between colleagues from the programmes of Hispanic and American Studies at Swansea University. Launched in early 2010, CECSAM supersedes the Centre for Latin American Studies at Swansea (CLASS) that had been established in 2007. CECSAM is based in the Research Institute for Arts and Humanities (RIAH) at Swansea University, but is interdisciplinary in focus and members of the Centre work across Colleges.
