The Global Decolonization Workshop (GDW) is a collaboration of ILAS and ICWS of the School of Advanced Study, University of London and the Department of History and the Global Initiative at New York University. GDW seeks to cultivate a global forum for knowledge exchange and debate in the interdisciplinary field of decolonization studies. GDW is particularly interested in widening the scope of the field beyond the traditional post-war emphasis on the British and French empires.
