2006 Demonstration against metallic mining in San Isidro, Cabañas
In August 2006, a demonstration opposing metallic mining was held in San Isidro, Cabañas, during which a letter and other documents were delivered to the mayor. This was the first demonstration against mining in the department and had an important impact on public opinion.
